To strengthen our team in Belgium weare looking for a Data Analyst who will work within anenthusiastic, ambitious and welcoming Data & AI team. As a DataAnalyst at Decathlon, you will work closely with the marketing,e-commerce and digital teams to provide strategic insights thatwill drive business decisions and optimize results. Your mainresponsibilities will be : Identification of business analyticalproblems: Intuit, collect and challenge analytical needs. Preciselyunderstand business issues and translate them analytically. Collectthe gain/value estimate and challenge the relevance of each subjectto be addressed. Implement a rigorous exploratory approach:Identify relevant data sources available. Prevent and identifyrisks, biases, incompleteness of the analysis. Formulate hypothesesand propose reasoning validating or invalidating these hypotheses.Solve analytical problems: Extract then transform the data. Createnew indicators/tables adapted to the subject. Return results in agraphic form allowing the business to explore the answer. Returnanalyses with clarity and transparency: Synthesize information tomake them accessible. Present the results of the analyses in theform of data visualizations used by the business/requester. Suggestand support the implementation of recommendations. Document, shareyour work with your peers to make it reusable, replicable,adaptable. As Data Analyst , you are rigorous , with a sense oforganization and the ability to self-motivate and workindependently. You are open and communicative , and have theability to synthesize and create reports. You are proactive inmaking recommendations and hypotheses. You have also : a bacheloror master degree in engineering, informatics or statistics with aspecialization in data engineering, big data or data science. atleast 3 years'' experience in a data analyst position. You''repassionate about digital and have an analytical mind and a realappetite for numbers. the knowledge in most common programminglanguages for data analysis (SQL, Python, SAS). the proficiency inat least one dashboarding tool (Tableau, Google Data Studio /Looker Studio, Power BI etc). An experience with at least one ofthe main Cloud Environments (GCP, AWS, Azure). Language : fluencyin French and have a B2 level of English, important in theinternational context of this role. A basic knowledge of Dutchwould be a plus. And a plus would be : the knowledge of AB testingstrategy and logic an experience with DataBricks and also atransformation tool like DBT. Ready to join us ?
