As a Senior Systems Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in leading systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle from conceptual design and development to integration, verification, and operations. This is a high-impact role within a dynamic and growing engineering team working on truly novel space systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage system-level architecture, design, and requirements development.
Define and maintain system interfaces and ensure coherent integration across subsystems.
Perform trade studies, risk analysis, and system performance assessments.
Coordinate with hardware, software, and propulsion teams to ensure end-to-end functionality.
Support system integration, testing, and verification planning and execution.
Prepare technical documentation and contribute to customer and partner interactions.
Required Skills Experience:
Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in systems engineering within the aerospace or space domain.
Strong knowledge of spacecraft systems, propulsion technologies, and design methodologies.
Proficiency in MBSE tools (e.g., SysML) and requirements management (e.g., DOORS).
Experience with ECSS standards and verification processes.
Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
Desirable:
Previous work on electric or air-breathing propulsion systems.
Background in early-stage startups or RD-heavy environments.
