About the job
We are looking for a seasoned finance professional to join our fast-growing Fintech company, leading the preparation of IFRS financial statements, audits, and consolidated group reporting. The role involves driving budgeting, tax planning, cash flow management, and financial system implementation in a dynamic, tech-driven environment. You will work cross-functionally with teams including FP&A, legal, and compliance to support scalable growth and financial integrity.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Control of financial statements preparation in accordance with IFRS (BS, PL)
- Management of external and internal audits
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements for Holding company
- Supervise external consultants for payroll preparation, taxes, payments
- Conduct on a regular basis bank reconciliations
- Participating in cash flow planning
- Manage intragroup payments
- Participate and control of budget and forecast reports
- Evaluate and manage financial risks
- Control and optimize costs, TAX planning
- Support in creation and monitoring of compliance with accounting procedures and policies.
- Participation in the implementation of IT system
- Interact and support other departments, such as: treasury, FP&A, legal, tax, internal control, procurement, among others in multidisciplinary processes and projects.
Required Hard Skills and Education
- At least 34 years of experience as a Financial Reporting Specialist or in a similar role
- ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or another relevant qualification (may be in progress)
- Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in preparing financial statements and managing general ledgers
- Experience working with external auditors and consultants
- Proficiency in accounting software; experience with ERP system implementation is a plus
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and Google Sheets
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Languages: fluency in English is required; Russian is a plus
- Experience working across different jurisdictions is a plus
