Provide comprehensive legal support to a dynamic Family Office Group with a diversified portfolio of investments, including real estate assets, venture capital operations in multiple sectors, and corporate holding structures. The Legal Counsel will act as the primary legal advisor, responsible for managing all legal matters internally and coordinating external counsel when needed, with a strong focus on corporate governance, transactions, risk mitigation, and strategic legal input.
Specific Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal support across all areas, including corporate matters, investments, asset management and real estate transactions.
- Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, corporate agreements, commercial arrangements, and internal governance documentation.
- Lead the legal structuring and execution of diverse operations (corporate, financial, transactional), overseeing legal analysis, managing external counsel, and identifying legal risks and mitigation strategies
- Independently manage all day-to-day legal matters, including corporate governance, regulatory basics, and interactions with business partners, financial institutions, authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as the single point of contact for all legal issues within the Family Office, offering agile, cross-functional legal insight and anticipating risks and needs with a proactive and business-oriented mindset.
Requirements and personal skills
- Education: Degree in Law. Broad experience in corporate law.
- Languages: High level of English. Other languages will be an asset.
- Experience and specific knowledge: +7 years of experience in Family Office, Investment Group or a in a law firm taking care of general advice for clients in different sectors. Specific experience in regulated markets such as Pharma, Securities, Energy or Real Estate will be a plus.
- Personal skills: Sense of discretion, analytical skills and thoroughness.
