Fincons is looking for an Enterprise Architect


TASKS

Maintain an overall view of IT systems with special attention to the role and position of eCommerce DataHub and its analytical components.

Supervises the overall consistency of digital architecture at Corporate level

and guarantees that its design fulfils a set of requirements.

Performs high level and core design of eCommerce DataHub and its analytical platform, ensures

interoperability and identifies potential reuse of existing analytical components.

Define DataHub and its analytical platform reference architecture and its evolution, in alignment

with Corporate architecture and specific DataHub project requirements.

Propose and design the scalable data pipelines necessary to meet the business analytical

requirements related to the data collected by DataHub project (including integration and

consolidation of the different data sources from different information Systems and including solutions based on the Cloud architecture)

Propose AI solutions and monitor their implementation to support DataHub requirements.

Proposes systems, components and services architecture (e.g. SOA, microservices, event driven,

serverless, API-first), COTS software products, standards.

Makes proposals for data architecture and data governance.

Understands, applies and suggests improvements of methodology, data processing, data

architecture, data governance, AI technology, security policies, tools, best practices, etc..

Supports architectural consistency of the projects by designing services and components, encouraging reuse and ensuring that system design meets system requirements, in particular non-functional requirements: volume, scalability, confidentiality, integrity, availability, business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

Provides advice and consultancy to senior/middle/project management.

Produce and/or reviews architecture documents.

Oversees the work of external contractors pertaining to architecture, data analytics and AI

implementation

Support procurement and contract management activities where data processing services are

involved.

Report on the status, risks, and mitigation actions in this respect.

Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers



KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Very good knowledge of technologies and COTS used by DataHub / DataLab projects (e.g. SAS, R, Stata, Python, SQL, Kubernetes, Kafka, XML, etc.);

Stay up to date with the latest advances in IT architecture, data analytics and AI components, including innovative solutions related to the cloud technology.

Good knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, microservices, message - oriented middleware, service oriented bus).

Good knowledge of service implementation patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, request/response, etc.), distributed systems design and messaging layer.

Experience in architecture modelling (architecture modelling tools being an asset).

Proven experience of agile development and release scope management using Jira/ Confluence/

BitBucket/ Nexus tools and release planning;

Proven experience of working in multinational environment with outsourced software development model/environment;

Good analytical and problem solving skills

Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
