The Opportunity:
Our client, a high-growth cleantech company, is looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to lead sales growth across the Spanish market. Based in Barcelona, this hybrid role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of Southern European operations while contributing to the clean energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive new business with key stakeholders in the EV ecosystem: installers, distributors, and mobility partners.
- Manage and convert a dynamic B2B pipeline into long-term partnerships.
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closing.
- Deliver revenue targets across EV hardware and subscription-based software services.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across product lines.
Market Development & Strategic Relationships
- Build strong relationships with Spanish installers, wholesalers, and local partners.
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity to inform go-to-market strategies.
- Share customer insights with product and operations teams to enhance solutions.
Candidate Profile:
Essential Experience:
- Proven background in sales or business development, ideally in the EV, clean energy, or tech sector.
- Strong experience managing commercial pipelines and meeting revenue goals.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Able to explain technical products in a simple and engaging way.
- Spanish speaker (native) with strong English proficiency.
- Based in or near Barcelona, with flexibility for hybrid working.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and digital collaboration platforms.

- Experience working with installer networks or distribution channels in Spain.
