The Financial Controller will be responsible foroverseeing and controlling the financial activities of thecompany''s portfolio of subsidiaries. This role involves ensuringaccurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining robustfinancial controls, and providing strategic financial guidance tosupport business objectives. The ideal candidate will haveextensive experience in controlling within the logistics industry,strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead and develop afinance team. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting and Analysis- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statementsfor a portfolio of subsidiaries. - Ensure compliance withregulatory requirements and company policies. - Conduct financialanalysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.Budgeting and Forecasting - Lead the annual budgeting process for aportfolio of subsidiaries. - Prepare and review forecasts andvariance analyses. - Monitor financial performance and implementcorrective actions as needed. Financial Controls and Compliance -Develop and maintain a robust internal control environment. -Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financialregulations. - Conduct regular audits and implement recommendationsfor improvement. - Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, andregulatory bodies Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Accounting,Finance, or a related field; a Masters degree or CPA/CFA ispreferred. - Proven experience as a Controller or similar financerole, ideally within the logistics or project logistics industry. -In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles,laws, and best practices. - Experience in managing financialconsolidations and working with multiple multiculturalenvironments. Skills and Competencies - Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills. - Good communication and interpersonalabilities. - Proficiency in financial software and MS Office,particularly Excel. - High attention to detail and organizationalskills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.- Experience - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience infinance, with at least 3 years in a controlling role. - Experiencein the logistics or project logistics industry is highly desirable.- Proven track record of implementing financial controls andimproving financial performance. Additional Requirements -Willingness to travel to subsidiary locations as needed. - Englishlanguage mandatory, French language is a plus. Location Milan (eastzone)
