For an international company in the global Agriculture business in 4333 Mnchwilen (AG), we are looking for a Laboratory Assistant Packaging - temp. assignment (100%), min. 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Professional and timely execution of tests of packaging materials and filling goods (quick test, standard, shelf life and special tests, specification tests, etc.), which are necessary to answer specific questions.
- Responsible for compliance with HSE regulations in the Packaging Test Lab.
- Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining the laboratory and equipment.
- Assists with receipt and inspection of raw materials, and ordering and stocking of materials and equipment.
- Familiar with a variety of the field''s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Communicates with internal colleagues within manufacturing plants, transportation, and storage of formulation, active ingredients, and intermediates into raw materials.
- Perform routine and non-routine operations safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring the operational readiness of assigned instruments and documentation of check and repair work.
- Responsible for HSE-compliant storage, testing, and waste management of all materials (such as active substances, formulations, intermediates, etc.).
- Supply support logistics and the internal order management processes, including recommending changes or modifications to be made to the processes to ensure optimisation.
Profile
- Trained Laboratory technician or chemical technician.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Laboratory skills in chemistry.
- GLP and HSE basic knowledge.
- PFAS basic knowledge.
- Knowledge of transport regulations.
- Good English skills.
