Together, we will position Marsh McLennan in Austria as a high performer in the CEE Region.
As CEO for Austria, you will oversee both our Marsh and Mercer businesses. I''ll provide further context on the team size, structure and key financials during our conversation (see contact details at the end). At a high level, you will lead a combined team of approx. 50 people and manage the country P&L.
You will benefit from the support of the Marsh McLennan global powerhouse and enjoy collaboration with your Regional CEO and Country CEO peers to ensure strategic alignment.
We will count on you to:
- Develop, implement & execute local strategy aligned with the company''s strategy.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Set clear, focused, and performance-based expectations that challenge staff to innovate and grow.
- Build and grow strong relationships with larger, strategic clients and prospects.
- Oversee the new business pipeline and identify revenue growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public forums.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and community organizations.
What you need to have:
- Well-connected in the local market.
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to bring together and harmonize the teams at Marsh and Mercer.
- Focused on execution, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Capable of making tough decisions for organizational restructuring and effectively communicating and executing unpleasant decisions.
- Fluency in German and English is a must.
