In particular, GIBBs extensive experience on Public Private Partnership projects (PPPs) demonstrates its capabilities in managing highly diversified project portfolios.This Sector is looking for another talented professional to complement their team, in the form of a Senior Draughsperson. We welcome your application if you believe you meet the requirements for this position.Produce accurate high quality plans, tracings and drawings of buildings, layout and installations fromsketches, plans or other information using computer aided drawing equipment, specifically AUTOCAD and REVIT.This includes the amendment, annotations and any similar work associated with such plans, drawings, 2D and 3D renderings. About this role**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:- The production of high quality plans- Dealing appropriately with the electronic receipt of plan for other CAD users.- The production of high quality drawings and work for Power Point presentations, charts, notices, posters, forms etc.- The completion and maintenance of computer (CAD) back-up systems and general computer housekeeping duties.- The completion and maintenance of records relating to plan work.- To occasionally accompany a Technician/Senior Technician/Engineer on an inspection of a large and complex building (major project), in order to quickly facilitate the production of relevant plans or drawings- To occasionally interpret electrical designs, in order to assist with contract measurements and site queries.- To attend user group meetings and other formal or informal training sessions to assist in the training of other CAD users and when required to assist in the development and use of new technology to produce drawings and graphics.- Such other associated duties commensurate with the grade of the post, as may be allocated by the Project Executive or Project Manager/Leader. The duties include:a) The reproduction of plans, tracings and drawingb) The reproduction, collation and binding of documentsc) Production of electrical details for constructionc) Basic administration dutiesd) Conversant in Microsoft Excel and MS Word.- e) Occasionally providing cover for CAD purposes in other locations/directorates within GIBB
