As a member of the team, you will:
- Play a key role in developing safe manufacturing processes
- Be part of a diverse, global team carrying out critical and strategic projects
- Liaise with partners to ensure timely study completion
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing knowledge and direction in process safety
- Supporting Syngenta''s new product development and pilot plant manufacturing
- Contributing to novel technologies and approaches for flammability risks and controls
- Providing process safety training and coaching to colleagues throughout the region

Qualifications
Extensive prior specialization in process safety is not essential, as you will be supported by a team of globally recognized technical experts. We require:
- MA degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; PhD is advantageous
- Ideally 3 years of experience in process development and organic chemistry
- Experience with Process Risk Assessment techniques (e.g., HAZOP) in batch chemical processing
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is an advantage
