Skills and Attributes Accounts Payable Finance Leadership Skills Description The Accounts Payable Manager will be employed on a permanent contract and will work with the Financial Accountant / Deputy Director of Finance / Director of Finance who are responsible for managing the financial resources of the Hospital. The post holder, together with the finance team, will be responsible for ensuring that the Hospital controls its fiduciary affairs in accordance with statutory obligations. The finance team has the responsibility to ensure that the Hospitals financial and accountability culture draws from the best recommended practices. The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team and the processing of all invoices that the Hospital receives. The Accounts Payable Manager is also responsible for working with the Financial Accountant in his/her duties and ultimately contributing to the production of the annual financial statements in compliance with the Companies Acts and Accounting Standards for Voluntary Hospitals as issued by the Department of Health, ensuring that adequate systems and records are maintained.
