ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We arelooking to hire a Senior Structural Engineer to join the teamsupervising and assisting with railway infrastructure projectsacross Europe. ABOUT YOU Feel free to apply ifyou have the following: Academic Background: Civil Engineer,Technical Public Works Engineer (ITOP), Civil Engineer, or asimilar degree with a specialization in structures. Experience: Aminimum of 8 years of experience in the design, construction, orsupervision of structural works, preferably in railwayinfrastructure projects. Prior experience in high-speed railinfrastructure will be especially valued. Languages: Proficiency inEnglish, both spoken and written. Knowledge of other languages willbe an asset. Technical Skills: Knowledge of constructionprocedures, resolving on-site conflicts related to earthworks andgeological/geotechnical issues, expertise ingeological/geotechnical design and analysis, familiarity withdesign and construction standards based on Eurocodes, coordination,and planning. RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and coordinate on-sitestructural project design to ensure strict compliance. Manage thestructural supervision team on-site. Collaborate with thestructural design team to resolve on-site issues that require theirintervention. Review and approve shop drawings and technicalspecifications of materials provided by the contractor. Maintaineffective communication with various project stakeholders,including contractors, suppliers, and local authorities. Prepareperiodic reports on project progress and communicate any deviationsfrom the initial plan.
