Founded in 2000, Moviri is a multinational technology group with offices in Milan, Boston, Los Angeles, and Singapore.Job DescriptionAt ContentWise, our Senior Software Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, and delivering distributed and high-scalable services with a focus on quality, robustness, and maintainability. They collaborate closely with DevOps Engineers to architect and build efficient software development pipelines and environments.This is a full-time position based in our Milan office, with a hybrid flexible work policy.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement distributed and highly scalable services, ensuring quality, robustness, and maintainability.Create technical documentation aligned with the latest product and architecture updates.Collaborate with DevOps Engineers to design and establish efficient development pipelines and environments.Research, test, and apply new techniques and tools to improve development processes, quality, and performance.Assign, delegate, monitor, and evaluate tasks and projects for other Software Engineers.Qualifications and ExperienceBS/MS degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.Minimum of 5+ years experience as a backend developer, with expertise in Java or Kotlin and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).Solid experience with Java frameworks (preferably Spring or Quarkus), Linux, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and scalable distributed systems.Experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, Elasticache, DynamoDB, S3.Familiarity with distributed event stores and streaming systems (preferably Apache Kafka).Knowledge of full-text search engines (preferably Elasticsearch).Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Kanban workflow.Passion for experimenting with cutting-edge technologies and a proactive attitude.Compensation & BenefitsJoin Moviri and make a real impact in your field.
