Your responsibilities
The successful candidate will take a leading role in statistical and methodological approaches, significantly contribute to the scientific output of the group by publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and present results at international conferences. Additionally, the candidate will supervise graduate and master students and receive training in study-related tasks such as basic lab work, MRI scanning assistance, and biobanking.
Your profile
- PhD and/or expertise in data science, bioinformatics, biostatistics, neurosciences, or pathophysiology
- Advanced knowledge of statistical data modeling (single-omics and multi-omics data integration, multivariate statistics including PCA, linear mixed effects models, etc.)
- Excellent scientific track record, including at least one first-author publication in a reputable peer-reviewed international journal
- Experience in Alzheimer''s disease and/or neurodegenerative diseases and biomarker discovery is highly desirable
- Commitment and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate internationally
- Interest in clinical research
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
