Windows Engineer:
For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Windows Engineer for a long contract based in Amsterdam.

Key Responsibilities:
- Image Creation and Management:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain standardized Windows 10/11 images for endpoint devices across the organization to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Security Compliance:
- Ensure all Windows endpoint devices adhere to company security policies and industry best practices. Conduct regular compliance audits and implement necessary updates.
- Technical Support:
- Deliver expert-level support for Windows endpoint devices (desktops, laptops, etc.), including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues to maintain system stability and performance.
- Project Coordination:
- Lead coordination efforts for the Windows 11 migration project. Responsibilities include tracking project timelines, gathering data, managing issues, and identifying and mitigating risks to ensure a successful rollout.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional IT teams, external vendors, and internal business departments to align project objectives with organizational needs.
- Issue Resolution:
- Provide ongoing technical support throughout and post-migration. Address and resolve issues such as deployment failures, application compatibility problems, and performance bottlenecks.
- Documentation:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including configuration settings, support procedures, and troubleshooting guides to enhance knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Partner with teams handling patch management, endpoint security, and deskside support to ensure end-to-end coordination and a seamless migration experience.
