As a process assistant you will contribute to thedevelopment of novel proof-of-concept devices and materials. Whatyou will do Imec is leading the research and development of noveldevices and materials that can shape the future of tomorrow''selectronic devices. In this growing R&D activity, we arecurrently looking for a process assistant to work in our cleanroomlab environment and support our device fabrication activities.He/she will develop process steps as well as integrate processsteps into proof-of-concept devices. For this challenging task, weare looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person withexperience in cleanroom processing, such as photolithographicpatterning, chemical etch and thin film deposition. If you love towork in a world-class cleanroom lab environment and help to developprocesses for new device concepts that will shape future then thisrole is a great match for you. - Independent start-up of processingexperiments under the supervision of the responsible project leaderor scientist. - Execute process flows for device fabrication in asystematic way following project deadlines. - Deposition of thinfilms from solution and vacuum, using in particular tools likespin-coating, chemical vapor deposition and atomic-layerdeposition. - Photolithographic patterning of the deposited layers.- Bonding of different layers. - Physical characterization of thedeposited layers and realized devices. - Regular reporting in aconsistent and rigorous way.
