You will also have opportunities to shape the industry by authoring thought-leadership articles and market-analysis whitepapers.DescriptionThis position is responsible for ensuring that the Agency complies with, and staff is trained in, and adheres to documentation standards consistent with excellent client care and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.DUTIESWork with team to perform quarterly audit of charts, reviewing charts for compliance.**Accountability and internal responsibility**:Drafting accurate Microsoft Excel reports based on obtained data.Manipulate and compare reports (i.e., billing, IS, E2 etc.) ensuring accuracy between data entry and documents.Perform site HIPAA audits to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.Identify staff training needs and ensure development of and participate in, the implementation to staff at all program levels.Maintain the Agency Documentation Training Manual.Assist with maintenance of documentation templates on the Agency intranet site.Recommend and assist in preparing new forms.Attend county QIC meetings and relate/disseminate essential information to relevant staff within the Agency.Attend and participate in routinely scheduled program, division and Agency staff meetings.**PRIMARY DUTIES**:Coordinate and manage team through Quarterly Clinical Audit of charts; scheduling, reviewing charts for compliance, accountability and internal responsibility.Develop, manipulate and draft accurate Microsoft Excel reports based on audit data.Supervise audits of Custodian of Records; draft reports etailing tracking and follow-through on documentation problems and their correction.Assist in preparation for County and State audits and site visits; prepare reports in responses to audits including plans of correction.Participate in the development of Agency training based on needs; routinely, train staff on agency/DMH LA County standards for documentation.SkillsAt least one (1) to three (3) years clinical experienceKnow and comply with Agency policies and procedures, HIPAA, Department of Mental Health policies and documentation guidelines, and other state/ federal regulations related to quality assurance and management.We understand that consulting can be a demanding career. our Company Group is committed to helping our people maintain a healthy work/life by balancing the demands of quality client work with the opportunity to pursue personal aspirations, spend time with their families and contribute to their communities.
