We are looking for a DevOps Engineer As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a part of Bayer's Customer Engagement Team. You will work on improving our 'System and Data Integration Capabilities'. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on the AWS cloud platform. Develop infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, containerization, and orchestration using tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker. Collaborate with colleagues using cross-team the collaboration platform Backstage. Develop CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions to enable seamless deployment of applications and services Perform the implementation of automated testing and continuous integration processes to ensure code quality and reliability Perform the setup and configuration of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure Develop integrated solutions for security scanning and vulnerability assessment into the developer tool portfolio and CI/CD pipelines Perform the troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure and application incidents to ensure stable operations and business continuity. WHO YOU ARE: Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field 3 years experience as a DevOps engineer Good proficiency with the AWS cloud platform with focus on infrastructure as code using Hashicorp Terraform and version control via Git. Optional knowledge in Backstage usage. Good knowledge in automation with CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions. Good knowledge in Kubernetes / Docker development and operations with focus on AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service and AWS Elastic Container Service. Good knowledge in security concept with focus on operations of Hashicorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager and using OpenID Connect using Microsoft Entra ID for authentication and authorization.
