Job Description: EMEA Purchasing DirectorA multinational industrial company is seeking an EMEA Purchasing Director to act as a strategic partner to the business and enhance global sourcing strategies.ResponsibilitiesLead the Direct and Indirect Materials Supply teams with full responsibility for the EMEA Strategic Supply Chain.Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to support the companys goals for cost reduction, quality improvement, and innovation.Understand end-to-end business goals and anticipate EMEA Supply Chain related issues.Lead cross-functional teams in supplier selection, qualification, and negotiation to establish and protect the companys competitive advantage.Ensure all sourcing activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Key QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain and Sourcing, preferably in a demanding, multicultural environment.Experience in driving short-term action planning processes with systems for progress follow-up and reporting.Ability to lead and manage teams across multiple locations.Ability to lead change initiatives and drive continuous improvement in operations.Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement techniques.#J-18808-Ljbffr
