Innovation, continuous research, digital industry and sustainability are the pillars of its business worldwide.We are looking for a Digital Twin Researcher to join our team.The Senior Simulation Process and Data Management (SPDM) Application Engineer is responsible for leveraging advanced level engineering and product development knowledge to define, design, develop, deploy and deliver enterprise-level solutions that enable Leonardo Divisions to utilize advanced simulation technologies more effectively throughout their product development and engineering processes, specifically on the following domains: engineering collaboration, configuration & change management, requirements, model-based engineering, Materials & Simulation Data Management.This position will work closely with Digital Engineering competence centers, Engineering Functions and selected Vendors in order to:Design, define, develop the better solution applicable to LeonardoUnderstand the existing IT landscape of a customerExecute on configuring the solution and integrating it with the overall IT landscapeCreate necessary collateral and demo environmentsEducation:Bachelors degree, Masters or other advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldSeniority:ExpertDesired Technical Skills And Knowledge:Analyze customers business and technical needs requirements, and the state of a customers current infrastructure, operations, and engineering workflowsConsult our customers on process design and process optimizationDerive the technical specifications in collaboration with other business process analysts, subject matter experts, peers and Vendors Product ManagementCreate elegant and useful solutions to solve complex business problems by working across various teams and understanding the needs of customersCoordinate and execute all technical activities (design, develop, deploy) throughout the sales opportunity such as customer meetings and product presentations, demonstrations and evaluationsUtilize the components of the Vendors platform as the foundation for building complete solutions that transform customer product development processes to facilitate more engineering in the digital domain by leveraging simulation5 years of working experience in Engineering/Simulation Environment or IT/Simulation DepartmentExperience in one of the following environments:Engineering Software Commercial CAE/CAD/EDAEnterprise Systems MBSE/PLM/PDM/ALM/ERP/TDMSimulation System Hexagon Simmanager (pro)Material Management Material Center (pro)Basic Computer ScienceExcel, java, htmlHPC infrastructureRudiments of numerical simulationCAE applicationsMaterial mechanical PropertiesLanguage Skills:Advanced English proficiency (B2C1 level).Soft Skills:Team working.ProactivenessProblem solving.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to autonomously manage research projects.FlexibilityOther Requirements (e.g., Travel Availability, Certifications, Etc.):Willingness to travel occasionally within the national territory.We are waiting for your application: send us your CV within three weeks from the opening of the job announcement.How does the recruitment process work?We will collect applications and evaluate the CVs most closely aligned with the requirements.
