About the Role

Directly supporting the Financial Controller, you will perform day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. Besides that, you are expected to participate to the company`s transition to SAP which also includes optimization activities.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Assistant Financial Controller who will;

• Conduct accounting transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries)
• Prepare daily and monthly financial statements,
• Prepare necessary documents for tax filling,
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and effectively manage petty cash transactions,
• Record all transactions promptly and accurately,
• Support monthly close process,
• Assist the Financial Controller in producing financial statements,
• Engage in the SAP transition of the organization and utilize SAP for accounting tasks,
• Assist the audit process (along with external auditors),
• Carry out transactions related to invoices and collections,
• Process vendor payments and related transactions.

About You

• MBO+ level education in Finance, Accounting, or related fields,
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance-related role,
• Proficient in Dutch GAAP and local fiscal regulations,
• Strong skills in MS Excel and other accounting software,
• Fluent in Dutch and English, additional languages are a plus,
• Familiarity with SAP, especially in accounting modules,
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
