Quality Engineer
Responsibilities
- Control of tasks which are defined in the system (within the BU)
- Inform BU area about the dangers of the quality of products and processes
- Timely preparation of documentation quality
- Stop the production process in the event of hazards and non-compliance of quality
- Inference and creating the permission of deviation for product
- Issuing the decision to release the blocked processes or products
- BU Staff training in the field of quality assurance
- Initiate actions to improve the quality in the BU
- Timely execution of tasks assigned by direct supervisor
- Taking care of the environment, for example by sorting waste and respecting HSE rules
- Preparation of instruction and carrying out appropriate trainings
- Co-operation by handling supplier issues
- Co-operation by internal and external audits
Qualifications
- Higher Technical Education
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, QM Plan, and the 8D Method
- Languages: English or German (written and spoken)
- Software: MS Office, Minitab, APIS FMEA, Plato FMEA, QS-STAT, SAP R/3, Customer portals
