This role involves researching, developing, and implementing innovative solutions for high-performance batteries, including AI algorithms across all development phases such as design, cloud control optimization, fleet monitoring, and digital twin creation.The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field, with at least 2 years of dedicated AI development experience. Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and knowledge of deterministic, supervised, and unsupervised AI algorithms are essential. Experience with AI PhD research, in-field measurement, data treatment for embedded applications, AWS, and Power BI are advantageous.Responsibilities include:Using AI for calibration of battery control algorithmsMonitoring vehicle fleet batteries, creating digital twins, and developing predictive maintenance strategiesInnovative AI applications to enhance development processes and failure detectionDesigning cell, module, and pack connection topologies for thermal and mechanical optimizationKey skills include the ability to work in a dynamic environment, strong communication, accountability, and proactive solution proposing. Fluency in English is required; Italian language skills are a plus.
