As a Team Leader, youll play a key role in overseeing daily logistics processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on position where youll have the chance to drive performance, streamline operations, and make a real impact on customer satisfaction. You will also need to have a Reach Truck license or Forklift license and speak Dutch and English.

What do you do on a typical day?

• Manages team performance continually; develops associates by providing training and coaching. Responsible to meet all operational KPIs
• Assigns duties and monitors work completion for accuracy
• Maintains a safe work environment and fosters a positive team dynamic, resolving employee relations issues and administering corrective action as required
• Lead start-up activities with cross functional teams
• Responsible to make recommendations regarding hiring, terminating, performance evaluations, and promotions
• Daily interaction with internal and external customer on operational level
• Personnel scheduling to support all shifts and accounts, plan and organize staff workload
• Maintain documentation of processes that are followed by the department
• Train associates so an up to date understanding of processes, policies and procedures are maintained
• Consciously dealing with the reduction of environmental impact in terms of waste, energy, water, and fuel consumption

What you need to succeed at GXO

• You are familiar with the MS Office package and WMS functionality
• You have intermediate vocational education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• You have at least 3 years of experience in a managerial position within a logistics environment
• You have a valid reach truck license (or must be prepared to renew) Forklift license is desirable
• LEAN Warehousing knowledge is desirable
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English are essential
• Be self-driven and resilient with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills
