Position The role:
Despite the challenging market conditions in recent years, our Client continues to achieve year-on-year relevant growth, strategically adding senior hires while maintaining a well-balanced pyramid. In this context, we are looking for 1) one Principal Turnaround (PT) and 2) one Senior Manager Turnaround (SMT), to join the dedicatedpractice in the Italian office, focusing on helping clients resolve urgent and complex situations and implementing rapid change.
Position Specific responsibilities:
Delivering a range of integrated offerings and sharing a practical, results-oriented mindset, the PT and SMT will work side-by-side with clients'' Management teams and Stakeholders to provide a wide range of services to companies facing strategic, financial and operational challenges. They will act as restructuring advisors and/or interim managers (according to their seniority) in insolvency, bankruptcy and restructuring cases across a wide range of industries. Engagements vary in size and complexity from mid-market to very large cross-border situations.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
For the Principal: at least 10 years of relevant restructuring / distressed experience
For the Senior Manager: 8 up to 10/12 years of relevant restructuring / distressed experience
Background from Consulting, Private Equity, Banking or Industry sectors with specific focus on: financial and operational turnaround programmes; cash and working capital management; balance sheet restructurings; implementation of cost reduction programmes ; supporting roles to Chief Restructuring Officer. A double track career Corporate Consulting would represent a strong plus.
According to specific roles seniority:
Proven track record in 1) successfully structuring, leading and delivering complex client engagements that deliver results that exceed client expectations, and in 2) developing credible recommendations under tight time constraints and with incomplete information, while planning for and proactively mitigating project and workstream risks.
Demonstrate mature ''helicopter view'' - with the ability to identify critical areas for analysis and review, synthesise complex unstructured information and apply good business judgement to quickly lead deep insights into possible impacts and solutions.
Demonstrate ability to consistently extend work on existing projects ; ability to identify and develop new opportunities .
Experience of proposal development; strong commercial instincts and interest.
Decisive and result-oriented Leadership , well blended with sense of collaboration , resilience, self-motivation and the energy to drive results in fast-paced and complex environments. Fluency in Italian and English, with additional lan
