Overview:
83zero is supporting a global IT Services Consultancy who has a customer in Barcelona who is seeking a dedicated Network Security Engineer, with experience in Palo Alto to join their technical team.
This role involves providing support services in security, collaborating on various tasks, and sharing knowledge within the team. The ideal candidate should have experience in logical security environments and be eager to continue learning and operating other security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Requests: Attend to N1 and N2 requests in areas such as:
- User navigation
- Incidents derived from EDR behavior
- Access management
- Remote access management
- SFTP resource creation management
- Management of digital certificates (HSM)
- Clean mail management
- Vulnerability management
- Management of corporate environment on mobile devices (MDM)
- Security Queries: Answer doubts and queries about security.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team, sharing knowledge and collaborating on usual tasks.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of network and security principles.
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot security incidents.
- Familiarity with EDR, access management, remote access, SFTP, digital certificates, clean mail, vulnerability management, and MDM.
- Learning Attitude: Willingness to continue learning and operate other security systems.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and share knowledge.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in logical security environments with knowledge and some experience in Palo Alto.
Certifications:
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE): Validates in-depth knowledge and skills required to design, deploy, operate, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA): Validates knowledge and skills required for network security administrators responsible for operating and managing Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls
