Scope :
To support and enhance our SAP finance modules, we are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Business Analyst (Finance) to reinforce the Application Services team of our client. This role will be key in ensuring the efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement of our financial processes within SAP.
Currently, we are operating on SAP ECC, but in the short term, we will transition to SAP S/4HANA with an enhanced user experience through SAP Fiori, offering a modern, role-based interface alongside the traditional SAP GUI.
We also rely on the xSuite solution suite to streamline and digitalize key financial workflows, such as invoice processing and document management.
Your key responsibilities
- Maintain and Optimize SAP Finance Solutions: Ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of SAP ECC finance modules (FI/CO), including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO), while preparing for the transition to SAP S/4HANA Finance with Fiori.
- Support xSuite Usage: Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to optimize and support the use of xSuite, particularly for vendor invoice processing and digital document workflows.
- Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis: Collaborate with Finance and Controlling stakeholders to identify needs, analyze requirements, and propose functional SAP and xSuite solutions aligned with financial, operational, and compliance objectives.
- Process Improvement & Best Practices: Identify opportunities to optimize finance and controlling processes, leveraging SAP best practices and innovations in S/4HANA and Fiori.
- Testing & Validation: Support functional testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and system validation to ensure finance-related solutions meet business expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Project Support & Implementation: Contribute to finance-related SAP and xSuite projects, enhancements, and rollouts, ensuring proper alignment between business goals and technical delivery.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Serve as a liaison between Finance teams, IT, and external consultants to ensure coherent and consistent implementation of SAP Finance and xSuite solutions.
- Training & Documentation: Provide training and clear documentation to support user adoption and internal knowledge management around SAP Finance, Fiori apps, and xSuite modules.
- Transition to SAP S/4HANA: Play an active role in the preparation, analysis, and execution of the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Finance, including the deployment and adoption of SAP Fiori apps for a more intuitive and efficient user experience.
- Continuous Learning & Innovation: Keep up with SAP and xSuite innovations, especially within S/4HANA and Fiori, and propose improvements aligned with market trends and digital finance transformation.
What we value
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 37 years of experience as a Business Analyst working with SAP ECC Finance modules (FI/CO).
- Experience with xSuite or similar invoice automation/document management tools is a plus.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP Fiori or involvement in migration projects is an advantage.
- Technical & Functional Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, etc.).
- Familiarity with finance-related workflows, including invoice approvals and digital archiving via tools like xSuite.
- Understanding of SAP Fiori design principles and role-based access to finance applications.
- Experience with system integrations between SAP and other business systems (e.g., procurement, sales, HR).
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in French and English.
