As a trusted partner for productivity, safety, and sustainability, we provide our customers with innovative solutions that impact buildings, roads, and infrastructure worldwide.Hilti is a place where individuals can build lasting careers by exploring opportunities, maximizing their potential, owning their development, and making a real difference every day.What does the role involve?The role is based in our Finance Shared Service Center in Milan and involves managing general account operations for various markets globally, working in an international environment.You will perform compliant General Ledger processes and ensure accurate financial bookings, including month-end and year-end closing, fixed assets, ledger master data, intercompany transactions, and tax, maintaining balanced and correct ledgers (Balance Sheet, P&L, and Reclassified P&L).You will review and keep the balance sheet updated, post accurate accruals, prepayments, and provisions.You will identify and drive process and service level improvements using continuous improvement tools and suitable technologies.You will act as a sparring partner for Finance Business Partners by linking business decisions to accounting processes and delivering improved General Ledger services to the entities involved.You will ensure compliance through internal controls, proper filing, and responding to internal and external audit requests.Hilti has been recognized as a Great Place to Work, ranking 3rd in Best Workplaces in Europe!What do we offer?We will provide everything needed to succeed, including ongoing training and immediate responsibilities.In return, you will receive personalized career mentoring and exciting growth opportunities.What you need is:Bachelors or masters degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent finance qualificationExperience acting as a business partner, influencing stakeholders, and effective communication skillsProficiency in written and spoken EnglishExpertise in MS Office, especially ExcelKnowledge of IFRS standardsWhy should you apply?We are committed to creating a workplace where your growth is as important as our success.
