Make a difference as Senior Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist
As a Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist, you will design, manage, and optimise BI reporting solutions, ensuring data accuracy and relevance for key stakeholders. This role empowers teams to make smarter decisions by fostering data savviness across the organisation. Your key responsibilities will include:
Design and deliver comprehensive reporting and analysis solutions for the assigned function;
Define data requirements, scope, and planning for various requests;
Advise management on strategies to achieve data and reporting goals;
Lead insights development, connecting diverse data sources to drive effective decision-making at both operational and management levels;
Facilitate discussions to prioritize data and reporting needs, aligning them with the strategic objectives of both your function and Enza Zaden. Develop and execute training plans for users within the function;
Ensure comprehensive documentation of reporting setups, standards, assumptions, and user manuals to enhance cross-functional collaboration;
Implement necessary authorizations, security standards, and, where applicable, report certification to secure and democratize data across the organization.
You will work closely with Data Stewards, Engineers, and other BI specialists to ensure data quality and model consistency. You will report to the Manager Data, Analytics and Reporting and work at least 2days a week from our headquarters based in Enkhuizen.
What you bring as a future colleague
Relevant BI certificates, University-level education (Masters degree preferred), ideally in an analytics-related field.
Proficient with BI tooling (eg PowerBI), SQL, ERP systems, Databricks, DBT, Excel, data visualisation tooling, statistics
Analytical skills. Strong analytical abilities with a knack for structuring and prioritizing complex information.
Communication and training skills. Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to educate and empower colleagues.
