For a prestigious Swiss client we are currently looking for a Data Scientist / Data Analyst to join the Innovation Technology Team.
Job Title: Senior Data Scientist / Data Analyst
Job specific requirements for the search:
An excellent university degree (PhD is a plus) in natural science, mathematics, computer science, finance, engineering or similar
At least 3+ years of professional experience in a Data Science role
A deep understanding of data structures, ETL processes and database handling like databricks and their underlying concepts.
Experience with Azure Data Lakehouse, Azure Synapse, Azure Fabric
First touch-points with RAG implementations is a plus.
Experience of model deployment and solutions using cloud services (preferably Azure)
The ability to understand customer needs and solve real-world problems.
A background in algorithm development (SQL, Python, git, DevOps) and familiarity with agile methods is a must.
An active interest in current AI developments with best practices
Fluent English on a C1 level is required
On the person itself:
We look for someone who is located in or near Barcelona
The person should be willing to go to the office once a week to leverage our IT-hub spirit (the team is not looking for a 100% remote position right now)
Minor traveling will be required in order to meet the entire team once or twice a year.
The person should be very interested in new technology and willing to learn
