To join the quality department
We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector Civil.
She/He will be responsible for monitoring the construction quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) programs and conducting detailed audits to assess the level of compliance with the QA systems, procedures, and related quality activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Checks and reviews the plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site;
- Perform various checks and inspections as required and in line with the Inspection Test Plan, Project Specifications, applicable standards and concrete mix testing protocol requirements;
- Performs civil and structural inspections and tests, such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregation, graduation, concrete slump;
- Produces activity reports as necessary to ensure that all QC activities have been fulfilled;
- Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures as requested by the Construction QA/QC Manager.
Requirements:
- At least 8-10 years of related work experience in the field of quality control;
- Previous experience in pipeline projects;
- Expertise in microtunneling, drilling, and boring;
- Diploma in Civil Engineering;
- Working knowledge of codes, construction sequencing, scheduling, safety regulations and engineering drawing knowledge;
- Good knowledge of English.
