JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly reporting to our Fleet & Used Cars Manager, the aim of the Fleet Key Account Role will be to focused on building and promoting strong relationships with external stakeholders in order to ensure Mazdas Fleet & MDR channel business
Therefore, the individual taking on this role will be responsible for:
- Ensure the achievement of fleets sales targets on a yearly basis. This means toreach fleet sales objectives, providing a quick response on new business opportunities and improving fleet sales performance continuously. To do so, this individual will be expected to maintain and expand national and regional fleet clients at all levels ensuring personal contact to existing and potential major customers, leasing companies RACs and big companies. Moreover, will be required to be involved in responding inquiries and tender requests from fleet customers, while providing support to Key Accounts, leasing companies, and other fleet-relevant stakeholders. Collaboration in the organisation of fleet customer events like test drives, auto show, tech-day and in the implementation of marketing activities focused on fleet business will be also part of our Fleet Key Account Roles responsibilities.
- Analyse fleet business operations to identify potential gaps and develop key initiatives. Ensure the proper implementation of fleet programmes (e.g. car rentals, resellers for parts) for major customers, car rentals, leasing companies, public authorities, etc, analysing results in terms of customer satisfaction and profitability and detecting risks and opportunities for fleet business.
- Ensure the development, implementation, maintenance and optimization of relevant best-fit IT systems. This role also entails ensuring that robust processes and systems are in place to manage the Daily Rental buyback activity.
- Cooperate with internal interfaces to support shared planning and mutual understanding, involving areas such as Marketing, Sales, Aftersales or Finance. This implies responsibilities such as taking part in the development of procedures aimed at optimizing the fleet business and ensuring press contacts regarding fleet matters.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for this position will bring the following:
- Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering.
- Extensive experience (minimum of 5 years) in a similar position (ideally within fleet operations or B2B sales), with proven results in a commercial role at a leasing company or fleet department in an OEM.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (daily use).
- Willingness to travel frequently within Spain.
- High degree of customer orientation and networking skills.
- Solid knowledge and experience with MS Office.
- Strong negotiation skills.
