Working at Hotel Danieli means being partof a dynamic team that values mutual respect and collaboration.About The Role: As a Chef De Rang at Hotel Danieli, you will beresponsible for ensuring the smooth operation of your assignedsection in the dining room during the evening shift. Your dutieswill include taking orders, serving food and beverages, andproviding exceptional service to our guests. You will also assistin training junior staff and maintaining high standards ofhospitality. What you will do - Describe the selection of Food& Beverage menu items to Guests by offering interesting, andvivid descriptions of each items, origin, taste, and preparationmethods; communicate Guest orders including any special needs orrequests to the kitchen using the hotels point-of-sales system;coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with theGuests original order; transport items to the Guest table in atimely manner to ensure proper food quality - Anticipate Guestneeds, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respondurgently and appropriately to Guest concerns and requests -Properly and accurately close Guest checks; process cash and creditcard payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentarymeals. - Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and foodstations What you bring: - Proven experience as a Chef De Rang orin a similar role - Strong knowledge of food and beverage service -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to workefficiently in a fast-paced environment - Fluency in English;knowledge of a second language is a plus What We Offer: -Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities forprofessional growth and development - A supportive andcollaborative work environment - The chance to work in one ofVenice''s most iconic hotels Schedule & Hours: - This is afull-time position - The candidate must have a flexible scheduleand work also on weekends and holidays.
