For a renowned and forward-thinking shipping and transport company with a strong global presence, we are looking for an analytical and commercially minded Commercial Planner. With decades of experience, this organization is recognized as a reliable logistics partner, specializing in the complex and high-value transport of luxury yachts and other specialized cargo. As part of a dynamic commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating tailored transport solutions, balancing customer expectations with operational capabilities in one of the most demanding and prestigious sectors of global logistics. Your key responsibilities include: Managing commercial, operational, financial, and quality-related agreements with clients. Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. Preparing and handling quotations, negotiations, and contract management. Ensuring smooth administrative and documentation processes for goods flows. Working closely with the team to achieve business goals. Coordinating and managing the entire shipping process, from the clients initial request to the successful delivery, ensuring seamless end-to-end logistics for the transport of high-value assets like yachts to their specified locations. What were looking for: ~ A commercially driven and proactive attitude. ~ Strong communication and negotiation skills. ~ A true team player who performs well under pressure. ~23 years of experience in a commercial role; affinity with shipping is a plus. ~ Knowledge of the shipping industry and familiarity with BIMCO shipping contracts would be an advantage. ~ Analytical and flexible, with a focus on results.
