We are looking for the following profile:PositionSENIOR HIGH-PRECISION MECHANICAL DESIGNERThe candidate will specialize in designing high-precision mechanical components used in fiber optic systems.ResponsibilitiesDesign and CAD modeling of components such as connectors, fiber supports, micro-positioners, and housings for sensors or optoelectronic modules;Work with very tight mechanical tolerances (micrometers) and stable materials (titanium, ceramics, stainless steel, etc.);Design of fastening and mechanical assembly systems;FEM analysis and simulations to verify resistance, thermal deformation, or vibrations of components under environmental stress;Prototype development and testing in collaboration with laboratories or mechanical workshops to realize prototypes and verify functional and optical performance;Technical drafting of bills of materials (BOM), assembly manuals, technical specifications, and quality instructions;Management of project revisions according to internal ISO 9001 procedures or similar;Proactive participation in product design and technical improvements.RequirementsWe seek candidates with approximately 10 years of solid experience in precision mechanical design in related sectors. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar is required, along with excellent knowledge of SolidWorks software.
