The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the execution and review of various accounting activities and balance sheet items
Responsibilities:
- Managing accounting operations for multiple legal entities across different countries, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Supervising audits and collaborating with external third parties.
- Leading and mentoring the team a team of 2 accountants, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Driving process improvements in SAP S/4HANA, optimizing its use for accounting and controlling functions.
- Identify areas for improvement, and working with the team leader to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensuring compliance with Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
- Engaging in cross-functional finance and interdepartmental projects to optimize financial operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor''s or master''s degree, preferably in Business Economics or Accounting (accounting certification is a plus).
- At least 5+ years of experience as a financial controller, financial accountant, or in accountancy.
- Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and experience and/or affinity with SAP ECC/S4HANA.
- Fluency in English. Dutch is a plus.
