Write the next chapter of your ABB story.Position Grade14Reporting ToProduction ManagerYour Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organizations assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours, aligning with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. You will implement local quality strategies by fostering a quality culture, utilizing tools, and leading competent teams to exceed customer expectations, optimize processes, and ensure continuous, sustainable improvement. The work model for this role is #LI-Hybrid. This position contributes to the Distribution Solutions Division within the Electrification Area in Dalmine. You will be mainly accountable for:Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities while ensuring compliance with timeframes, quality, and cost requirements.Supporting management with tools, systems, and quality-related content.Providing training materials and sessions to enhance quality management knowledge.Performing audits to assess system compliance and drive continuous improvement.Using data analytics to identify risks, failures, and non-conformities.Promoting a zero-defect vision, focusing on prevention and quality culture.Implementing corrective actions on analyzed NCRs and customer claims.Re-evaluating quality processes, defect analysis methods, and improvement initiatives.Qualifications for the RoleDegree in Engineering or experience in a manufacturing environment (not mandatory).Skilled in problem-solving and solution-finding, comfortable working on the shop floor.Experience in data analysis, including handling large data sets.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and ability to organize priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.Passionate about communication and implementing solutions to quality issues, engaging with stakeholders across departments.Proficient in Excel, MS Office, SAP, Power BI, with knowledge of AI tools like Copilot, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Loop (a plus).Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.More About UsABB''s Distribution Solutions Division facilitates efficient and reliable power distribution, protection, and control by enhancing electric power quality and strengthening grid resilience.
