We are now looking for a ChiefTechnology Officer (CTO) to drive our technological strategy, leadour engineering teams, bring new product to the market and deliversolutions to our customers. Your Mission As CTO, you will overseeAlpha Innovations technology roadmap, ensuring the development ofour next-generation energy conversion solutions. You will leadmultidisciplinary R&D and engineering teams (10 people),fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.Your role will be pivotal in translating technological advancementsinto scalable, market-driven products while ensuring operationalefficiency, regulatory compliance and after-sales support. This isan executive leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO,and working closely with the Chief Innovation Officer, sales, andproduction teams to align technology with business growthobjectives. Your Key Responsibilities Leadership & TeamManagement - Inspire and guide a team of highly skilled engineersand researchers, fostering an environment of excellence andtechnical innovation. - Implement structured project managementmethodologies to ensure timely and cost-effective execution. -Develop and mentor talent, ensuring continuous skills developmentand knowledge sharing. Technology Strategy & Innovation -Define and execute the companys technology roadmap, ensuringalignment with market needs and long-term objectives. - Driveresearch and development to enhance our product portfolio andmaintain technological leadership in power conversion systems. -Identify and integrate emerging technologies to improve productefficiency, reliability, and sustainability. Engineering &Product Development - Lead the design and development ofhigh-performance energy conversion systems, ensuring compliancewith industry standards. - Oversee the full product lifecycle, fromconcept and prototyping to industrialization and commercialization.- Implement best practices in hardware and software integration forrobust and scalable solutions. Strategic Partnerships & MarketIntelligence - Collaborate with the Chief Innovation Officer totransform prototypes into market-ready solutions. - Work closelywith sales and marketing teams to align product development withcustomer needs and industry trends. - Build strong relationshipswith clients, suppliers, and technology partners, ensuringcontinuous adaptation to industry demands. - Keep a close watch oncompetitor technologies and regulatory changes to anticipate marketshifts. Operational Excellence & Quality Assurance - Ensurerigorous testing, validation, and certification of all newproducts. - Oversee the implementation of agile and efficientengineering processes, improving productivity and productreliability. - Foster cross-functional collaboration withproduction teams to guarantee seamless industrialization. What YouBring to the Table Your Background & Experience - Masters orPhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a relatedfield. - 10+ years of experience in a senior technical leadershiprole, preferably in power electronics or industrial energysolutions. - Proven track record in R&D leadership, innovationmanagement, and new product development. - Strong knowledge ofpower conversion systems, electrical standards, and industrialautomation. Leadership Skills - Strong people management skills,capable of inspiring and coaching teams of engineers andresearchers. - Ability to unite the team and instil a dynamicspirit that stimulates the team to achieve the company''sdevelopment objectives. - Strategic thinker with a results-drivenmindset. - Ability to drive projects within cross-functional andinternational environments. Your Language & Mobility - Fluentin English and French. - Open to work most of the time from ourLouvain-La-Neuve site - Willingness to travel occasionally for keyclient meetings, technology conferences, and CE+T Groupcollaborations.
