With a global presence in over 30 countries and 20,000 employees, Expleo operates across various sectors including automotive, aerospace, defense, gaming, telecommunications, public sector, banking, financial services, and insurance.Job Title: Data ScientistLocation: Palermo (hybrid work mode)Responsibilities:Work on innovative projects focusing on Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision.Contribute to prototyping and product deployment phases.Minimum Requirements:Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.At least 3 years of research experience.Knowledge of Machine Learning principles, especially in NLP.Excellent Python skills, particularly with Pandas and Numpy libraries.Familiarity with frameworks for Large Language Models (e.g., Langchain, LLamaIndex).Experience with code versioning techniques.Preferred Skills:Experience in NLP or computer vision.Knowledge of deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.Knowledge of vector databases (Milvus, Qdrant).Experience with Docker and containerization.Experience with FastAPI for API development.Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications, including authorization per legislative decree dlgs. 196/2003.
