We are a leading provider of innovative battery cell connection systems, catering to the dynamic demands of the battery industry across Europe. With advanced engineering solutions and a commitment to quality, we''re expanding our footprint in the European market and seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to drive our sales and market engagement efforts.

Position Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you will lead our sales efforts across Europe, working closely with regional subsidiaries and collaborating on a technical and strategic level. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging target leads, fostering relationships, and driving the commercial success of our battery cell connection systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Market Engagement & Sales Execution:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for new business across Europe, leveraging your experience in the battery market to drive sales growth.
    • Develop and execute a strategy for market penetration, working closely with local sales teams across European subsidiaries to achieve shared goals.
  2. Technical & Commercial Acumen:
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of battery management systems and battery-related technologies, explaining complex concepts to customers with clarity.
    • Balance a consultative approach with a results-driven focus, ensuring technical discussions lead to successful deal closures.
  3. Lead Generation & Relationship Building:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential leads and key accounts across Europe.
    • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, acting as a trusted advisor to guide them through the product selection and purchasing process.
  4. Exhibition & Event Representation:
    • Represent the company at relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events related to batteries and battery technology to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  5. Sales Administration & Project Coordination:
    • Review and clarify Requests for Quotation (RFQs), preparing comprehensive quotes and following up with customers.
    • Manage technical and commercial clarifications, acting as a liaison between customers and suppliers to ensure seamless communication on project details.
    • Initiate the order process, coordinating with customers and suppliers to ensure a smooth transition from order to delivery.
  6. Onboarding & Training:
    • Participate in a comprehensive onboarding program, including initial training at our Germany office in Hilden and with suppliers in China.
