The Maintenance Supervisor works to define the optimal organization of the predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance activities, managing all the operations connected to production lines, utilities and facility, in order to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Main tasks are:
- Assures a continuous inspection, training, participation of people in safety improvement
- Is the direct contact of Maintenance shift technician for daily activities and problems occurring during all shifts
- Manages Maintenance shift technicians activities in order to drive OEE improvements and reduce breakdown
- Assure100% preventive maintenance activities completed on time
- Manage Maximo system related to maintenance activities
- Analyzes the causes of the technical issues to define the root cause and prevent recurrences
- Prepares internal development plans to support people growth
- People Management: Vacation/Productivity/absences/coaching and performance management of Maintenance shift technicians
- Collaborates and is accountable for operative aspects of the Capital Investment for the Plant to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Assures update of documentation, procedures, Forms etc.. in order to standardize the works for Maintenance area
- Implements KPIs related to Maintenance activities with the aim of improving effectiveness of technical interventions
- Continuously improve internal risk assessment for Maintenance department
- Technically identifies and supports equipment optimization through equipment design improvements, changes to operating procedures and maintenance activities.
- Collaborates with QA department for technical support in case of NCR/CA/PA investigation and actions and change control implementation
- Interfaces with suppliers for new products, requests for offers and confirmations of purchase orders.
