**Job Description:** A vacancy for a Function &System Design Responsible in Tactical Mission Management System& Datalink (f/m/d) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters inMarignane. You will join a team of engineers in the "SituationalAwareness and Mission Management" department in charge ofterrain/weather/threats/traffic awareness functions, visionenhancement and targeting systems, data-links as well as missionmanagement systems for all (e-)VTOLs. Wherever possible, we fosterflexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking. *Your challenges * Your main responsibilities will include: *Definition and implementation of operational concepts and use casesfor Tactical Mission Management Systems & Datalinks * Technicalresponsible for Tactical Mission Management Systems & Datalinks* Requirements engineering * Ensure planning at equipment andhelicopter level for development and qualification * Assesssuppliers offers with other stakeholders * Interface with projectmanagement, purchasing, sales department and other projectstakeholders throughout the organization * Interface with /management of suppliers and customers * Manage suppliers duringdevelopment phase * Support rig, ground and flight testing of theequipment * Ensure the qualification / certification of equipmentand the according functions * Apply of agile developmentmethodology * Participate in offer management and contributing toproduct sourcing policy * Benchmark our solutions with state of theart Tactical Mission Management Systems & Datalinks * Activelycontribute to definition and execution of research and technology(R&T) activities and mission systems product strategy *Supporting knowledge exchange within Airbus (all divisions) *Yourprofile* You have the following skills and experience * Academicstudies in the field of Physics, Electrical Engineering, AerospaceEngineering or similar * Comprehensive experience in the design,development, engineering and/or integration of mission managementsystems for aircraft * Knowledge in systems engineering,requirements engineering and integration in the field of avionics *Knowledge or previous experience of Tactical Mission ManagementSystems & Datalinks would be advantage * A previous experiencewith agile methodology (Scrum, SAFe) would be benifitial *Experience in Supplier Management * Team Spirit, good communicationskills and experience in stakeholder management * Language skills:English business fluent / negotiation level, knowledge of German,French or Spanish would be an advantage This position requires asecurity clearance or will require being eligible for clearance bythe recognized authorities.
