Jack Link''s EMEA team is committed to continuing its impressive EMEA expansion, one bite at a time, and becoming the regional leader in branded protein snacks.About the RoleThe company is looking for an experienced innovation manager to join the Jack Links EMEA team to co-create and roll out innovations for the 4 brands (BiFi, Peperami, Jack Links and Minuets) in the international office in Amsterdam. Key objective of the role is to deliver sustainable brand(s) growth via a sharp and penetration-driven innovation pipeline in the relevant identified demand spaces, and to expand the appeal, trial, repeat in the key markets of Germany, UK and BNL. The position reports into the Head of Innovation EMEA.Key ResponsibilitiesPurpose: To co-build and implement a strong innovation and renovation pipeline for the EMEA brands, to grow a relevant and meaningful presence in the savoury snacks category, leading to a sustainable double-digit growth, year on year.Key accountabilities:Cultivate a spirit of innovation, led by relevant, actionable and quantified consumer and shopper insightsActivate white space opportunities into concrete incremental innovationWith a data-backed approach and being savvy to the latest consumer trends across the product and packaging landscape, consumer and shopper insights, collaborate with our brand teams to shape our overall long term innovation strategyCo-develop innovation with potential of across brands synergiesCo-develop meaningful renovation to strengthen the brandsCo-own the Innovation Gate meeting cycle, and act as dedicated project manager across geographiesLead new product development including execution, in cooperation with the Head of Innovation, the brands teams, RD and OperationsLead opportunities of product/recipe/packaging optimization or renovation.Fully understand the levers of Brand Equity building to implement effective and efficient InnovationsBe a key member of the enlarged marketing team to ensure delivery of the growth agendaEmbrace the Jack Links culture, incorporating its values into everyday work life, acting as a culture ambassador and brand stewardAbout YouA minimum of 7 years in FMCG marketing, with a focus on brand building, and a minimum of 4 years experience in the innovation fieldDemonstrable success in brand building and equity improvements via innovationProven success in increasing brand penetration and brand equity via strong innovation launchesExperience in leading front end innovation projects and development projects in the innovation gate/funnel approachExperience in being innovation project managerExperience in working with operations and RDCross functional Team experienceExperience in concept writing is preferredMarket knowledge of the German/UK/BNL FMCG is ideal but not essentialExperience in food drinks categories is preferredConsumer centric thinking combined with excellent commercial understanding financially savvy approach to marketingProject management skills combined with pragmatic mindsetResults driven excited by challenge change to the status quoEntrepreneurial thinker creative problem solverBudget planning disciplineHighly self-motivatedResourceful resilientRequired language skills: fluent English (mandatory), German Dutch (preferred)
