Younity, a mid-sized law firm with offices in Brussels and Antwerp, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO). Our firm specializes in the legal aspects of human resources, serving both the private and public sectors. Role Overview

As COO, you will support the Partners in delivering outstanding service to clients by creating an inspiring and efficient work environment for our legal teams.

Reporting to the Board, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the firm, streamlining administrative processes, and executing strategic initiatives that drive productivity and profitability. This position demands a hands-on leader with strong operational expertise, financial insight, and exceptional people management skills particularly within a professional services context.

YourProfile

• You have 5 to 10 years of relevant experiencein a senior operational role, ideally within a law firm or a professional services organization.
• You hold a Masters or post-graduate degree, and bring strong financial and business management capabilities.
• You understand the unique dynamics of a law firm: the need to bridge the strategic vision of the Partners with the daily realities of fee earners striving for both quality and balance. You know how to build a high-performing, reliable support teamthat enhances the client experience.
• You are a true team player, skilled at fostering collaboration across all levels of the firm tostrengthen our service offering.
• You are data-savvywith solid reporting capabilities and confident in managing HR, compliance, and risk.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French, enabling you to communicate effectively and drive impactful results in a multilingual environment. Proficiency in English is a plus.
