The company has strong values centred around sustainability, reducing pollution and innovation.Role:Define a full purchasing strategy and take full ownership within your area of the commodityCreate competitive environments with suppliers to support a negotiation strategyLead all negotiations related to your commodityMaintain benchmarking data and high levels of market researchManage supplier crisis situations and own the responsibility for a stable supply of parts coming inCollaborate closely with internal engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teamsFind suppliers that can integrate new technologies into the industry in order to increase performance, reduce cost or improve sustainabilityRequirements:5+ years of sourcing Mechanical components in high volumesExperience working in a fast paced environmentStrong knowledge of Mechanical component suppliers globallyEngineering or Business degreeStrong negotiation skills and a hunger to saveFluent in EnglishAbility to travel up to 20% of the timeThe unrestricted right to work in the EU
