Job DescriptionEurofins BioPharma Product Testing is seeking an Application Support Specialist for the European Team. The position is open to multiple Eurofins site locationsRoles & Responsibilities:Provide support for P1 to P4 issues and escalate to other teams, including the vendor, until resolution.Perform quarterly audit compliance tasks, review application logs, audit trails, and ensure GxP requirements are met for system maintenance.Consult with application vendors and educate end users on best practices.Perform testing, patching of Windows updates on servers and PCs, and regular maintenance during weekends; support laboratory instruments.Participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery tests.Manage incidents, changes, and problems following ITIL standards; coordinate with CSV team, I/C management team, and lab QAs.Develop documentation for installation, diagnosis, and troubleshooting; create a knowledge base and FAQs.Provide application usage statistics to support internal billing.Deliver application performance and uptime reports to management and ensure SLAs are met.Research and test software updates/upgrades for compatibility.Offer technical training and guidance to lab staff.Support the Eurofins Cloud Migration Project.Coordinate with departments to ensure work dependencies are completed.This role requires up to 40% business travel across Europe in the first two years.Ability to execute IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols onsite or remotely is essential.Flexibility to switch between project and operational roles, with regular reporting on status and timelines.QualificationsAssociate''s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.GxP, Data Integrity, and ITIL certifications are advantageous.Minimum 2 years of IT application support experience with Chromeleon CDS in a GxP environment. Experience with other laboratory applications is a plus.Strong understanding of application architecture and workflows.Analytical troubleshooting skills.Support experience in Windows and Cloud environments.Experience validating applications per GxP standards.Knowledge of ITIL services and ServiceNow.Experience migrating laboratory applications between domains.Multilingual skills for European labs.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to work in an international environment, eager to learn and develop.The role is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with willingness to work outside business hours for critical issues or updates.Additional InformationPossibility of Smart Working.The contract is permanent, with salary based on the candidate''s profile.
