We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for an ICT Network Specialist - Medical Device Sector (German Speaking). The role is a permanent position based in Bern Canton with good home office allowance.Your Role: Configure & install various network components & services (e.g. switches, firewall, routers, VPN, proxy, WLAN infrastructure). Collaborate within &/or assume partial or main responsibility in network projects. Provide network, network security & firewall support. Build & further develop automation with Python & Ansible. Assess security threats.Your Skills: At least 3 years of relevant professional experience as an ICT Network Specialist (or similar). At least 3 years of experience with Cisco networks & skilled to at least CCNP level. A very good knowledge of network-related protocols such as DHCP, DNS & SNMP. A solid understanding of Failure Analysis & how to fix it in complex networks. A sound knowledge of Linux. Skilled & experienced in Scripting with Python, Ansible & PowerShell. Familiar in the areas of Network Access Control (NAC), Software Defined Network (SDN) & Network Detection Response (NDR). Ideally experienced in Container Infrastructure & associated technologies such as Docker, Podman & Kubernetes.Your Profile: Completed Higher Education / University Degree in Computer Science (or similar). Highly responsible & quality-oriented. Fluent English & business proficient German (to at least B2 level) language skills are mandatory requirements.
