We are looking for an Accountant with a high level of English. Within the finance team, you will be responsible for managing and performing daily accounting tasks and monthly closing in the different subsidiaries, focused on the North American market.

Location: Cantoria, Almera

Remote work: hybrid model, 2 days of remote work per week

Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 18:15, Friday from 8:00 to 15:00

What you will do:

• As an Accountant you would assist maintaining the General Ledger (GL) accounts and business transactions of the organization, applying IFRS Accounting Standards and reviewing financial records.
• Prepare work papers requested for external and internal audit
• Provide support to management in accounting and financial analysis
• Record month-end closing entries and accruals for monthly financial close
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules
• Prepare, review, and adjust general ledger account journal entries
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including intercompany general ledger accounts and operating expenses with subsidiary income statement accounts.
• Assist with initial internal control evaluations
• Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals
• Research and correct account discrepancies

What you need to succeed:

Education

Bachellor in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or similar.

Experience

1-2 years in accounting

Other

Language: advanced in English (level C1). A level test will be conducted.

Knowledge of accounting.

Knowledge of SAP and Office package.
