HAYS IT is supporting a client in the banking sector in their search for a freelance Functional Analyst. You will join a digital team focused on online and mobile banking services, including payments, cards, digital signatures, onboarding flows, and regulatory compliance.
Your Role
As a Functional Analyst, you will:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Write functional and non-functional specifications.
- Design service specifications and define data models.
- Create user stories in Jira and maintain documentation in Confluence.
- Work closely with architects, developers, and testers in agile squads.
- Support the development and testing phases.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- Experience in online/mobile banking, payments, cards, or KYC/onboarding.
- Strong knowledge of UML/BPMN, SQL, and relational databases.
- Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Enterprise Architect.
- Understanding of SOA, REST, and API concepts.
- Experience in a Java environment.
- Fluent in English; strong communication and teamwork skills.
Our client follows a hybrid homeworking policy (3 days onsite). Fluency in English is required, and fluency in Dutch or French is considered a plus.
The start date is as soon as possible, with a contract running until the end of the year (extension possible).
